A Bag of Ardex X7R Floor Tile Adhesive

Pack Size available: 20kg Bag White or Grey (Use white for Natural stone products)
Coverage: Approx. 5 sqm per 20kg Bag

*Wood-based sheets and boards
Prior to tiling ensure that new or existing boards are dry, i.e. conditioned to the environment in Which they will be used and are rigidly fixed, ventilated and free from barriers to adhesion.

Since plywood and other wood based boards are not dimensionally stable, they should not be used in wet or damp conditions (Direct shower areas) where they will be subjected to changes in atmospheric Humidity.

If Tongue & Grove boards or traditional floor boards are present we recommend laying Ditra matting 0r 10mm Marmox board prior to tiling being carried out.

If Chipboard is also present we recommend laying Ditra matting or 10mm Marmox board prior to tiling being carried out.

Ply wood 12mm should be screwed down every 6 inches along the joists to provide a rigidly fixed, flat and adequately braced surface.
